Collected data is used exclusively to provide Service features: caller ID, spam protection, and referral program management.

6. SMS, Call Log and Contacts Access

On Android devices the app requests the following sensitive permissions. All data accessed through these permissions is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to Rinqo servers or any third party.

READ_SMS, RECEIVE_SMS, RECEIVE_MMS, WRITE_SMS, SEND_SMS — display and send messages in the SMS tab when Rinqo is set as your default SMS app.
READ_CALL_LOG, READ_PHONE_STATE, CALL_PHONE — display the call log in the Phone tab, show the full-screen incoming call identifier, and place outgoing calls from the app.
READ_CONTACTS, WRITE_CONTACTS — search your address book and save new contacts from within the app.
RECORD_AUDIO — record a call when you explicitly request it; the recording is stored locally and never uploaded.

Only the phone number is sent to Rinqo servers when looking up caller information. The contents of SMS messages, MMS, call log, and call recordings never leave your device.

7. Your Rights and Account Deletion

You may revoke any granted permission at any time in Android Settings (Settings → Apps → Rinqo → Permissions), remove Rinqo's default-app role for calls or SMS, and fully delete your account along with the data associated with it.
